Project Duration
February 2022 to March 2022
The Problem
The absence of a trusted English speaking law firm in France.
The Goal
Design a website for Alaris Avocats to help them to meet their clients and help them to establish a long term partnership.
My Role
UX designer designing a responsive website for Alaris Avocats from conception to delivery.
Responsibilities
Conducting interviews, paper and digital wireframing, low and high-fidelity prototyping, conducting usability studies, accounting for accessibility, and iterating on designs.
User Research: Summary
I conducted interviews and created empathy maps to understand the users I’m designing for and their needs. A primary user group identified through research was working adults who need a law firm to represent them on the legal issues.
The first user group mainly focuses on who needs support to fulfil the French law on establishing a new company in France.

With the website designs completed, I started work on designing the responsive website. I  organized the structure of each screen’s design to ensure a cohesive and consistent experience across devices.
High-fidelity Prototype
The high-fidelity prototype followed the same user flow as the low-fidelity prototype, including design changes made after the usability study. Prototype presented cleaner user flows for browsing the law firm's website.
Accessibility Considerations
1.  Clear labels for interactive elements that can be read by screen readers.
2. Used detailed imagery for pages and visually appealing CTA buttons to help all users better understand the designs.
Takeaways
Impact
The website allows users easily navigate and helps them to execute desired actions without facing any difficulties.
What I learned
While designing the Alairs Avocats website, I learned that the first ideas for the website are only the beginning of the process. Usability studies and feedback influenced each iteration of the website's designs.
